BCAA offers Free Tools to make School Playgrounds Safer to Access

To help make your school zone safer, BCAA offers its School Safety Patrol Program free to elementary schools. The program provides your school with everything you need to get started – safety patrol equipment, training materials and student resources.

Standard Starter Package for New Schools — For 30 student patrollers and 1 crosswalkBCAA safety equipment montage

  • 3 safety patrol vests
  • 2 stop signs
  • 3 reflective wristbands
  • 30 whistles with lanyards
  • 30 patroller’s guidebooks
  • 30 certificates of recognition
  • assessment form
  • 4 traffic cones
  • 1 safety patrol training DVD with trainer’s guide

One (1) Starter Package will be sent to newly registered schools upon confirmation of qualification.
If your patrol team has more than 30 students or more than 1 crosswalk, you may need to order additional equipment and training materials.
