Profile
In 2021 the city of Luleå in northern Sweden turned 400 years old and as part of the celebration the city’s park had a full renovation including a wonderful new playground! The playground’s theme is Luleå’s nature and wildlife. Together with the existing playground, this new modern playground makes a great place to play for children from 2 plus years.
Norrbotten’s landscape bird forms the stunning focus of the playground which includes climbing walls, slides, swings and also exciting features like musical instruments, binoculars and emotion and weather boards.
There are also climbing hills, balance bars, a roundabout and other small equipment in the new part of the park all on a bright and safe mat flooring. Most of the new park is also fully accessible.
The older part of the park includes more slides, a net swing and a bicycle roundabout.
All of this is found in the city centre and surrounded by new gardens, a water fountain and a new wooden stage.
Parking is found all over the city centre in paid carparks or on the street.
A brilliant modern playground for all!
