About the Park
Grand old horse chestnut trees shelter the east side of Glen Park, a pleasant park to walk around or rest in. The rolling grass areas are often filled will the laughter of children at the playground and adjacent school.
History
The park was named after Glen Drive which in turn was named for the ravine or “glen” in a portion of the street. The park was officially named on December 11, 1930.
