Profile
Valby Nature park is home to Denmark’s largest nature playground, complete with hills, bridges, and climbing walls, football grounds, cycling routes, and beach volleyball.
A wooden boardwalk hidden among lush gardens and trees connects the play zones on the playground. Each portion of the playground has its own distinct set of attractions, such as warped houses, climbing ropes, balance bridges, tall ladders, and fast slides. You will also come across natural log posts, poles, and stumps for leaping and climbing.
You can start a fire at the ‘bonfire house’ if you plan ahead of time with the playground employees.
Valby Park’s gardens are one of the park’s highlights. The themed gardens are little green spaces inspired by different garden styles, such as the Islamic Garden, Hans Christian Andersen’s Oriental Garden, the Low-pH Garden, the Water Garden, and a garden designed specifically for persons who are blind or use a wheelchair.
