Profile
In the corner of the Leinfelden-Echterdingen Swarben Beer Garden lies a series playground structures made of wood and rope. This German adventure playground is mostly comprised of wood and rope. Tall log posts serve as both climbing poles and support for the ropes stretched between them. Atop some posts sits a large wooden tower that stretched post-top for almost thirty feet. Below that is a smaller wooden hut fitted with a straight metal slide. Closer to the ground is a web of twisted logs that reach from the sand-pit to the towers, above.
This playspace is designed for climbers. There are posts, platforms, beams and ropes everywhere. The entire playground is designed so that you could climb and traverse your way across the entire space without touching the ground.
The surface is covered with a combination of sensory rich materials like: wood mulch, lawn grass, and play sand.
In addition, there is a creative play space for children that allows you to roll marbles down a long interconnected path to the ground A well, you will find a nearby sandbox with shade, toys and a sheltered playhouse.
A natural rope dish swing completes this action packed playground.
And if this isn’t already enough, the adjacent beer garden hosts a fire pit, outdoor movie theatre, food services, and even water bowls for your dogs.
