Highlands Park

Highlands Park marks the culmination of six playground renovations for the city of Monterey Park, Los Angeles, California. As the final project in this series, we were honored to design a themed playground that serves as a destination for residents across town.

In tribute to Monterey Park’s firefighters, esteemed champions of the community, we created a one-of-a-kind Fire Station Themed Playground. Designed for children aged 5-12 and built using our durable steel series, this playground sparks imaginations and fosters an appreciation for service careers from a young age.

Zoom Recreation takes pride in bringing communities together through play. In May 2024, we joyously celebrated the grand opening of Highlands Park alongside the Los Angeles Monterey Park community and local fire department. Our streamlined turnkey process, expertise in city permitting, and adherence to local regulations were instrumental in delivering this impactful project, showcasing our commitment to creating engaging and inclusive play environments.
